System description

The De-icing Anti-Aicing system consists of a stainless steel container in which deicing liquid from standard IBS containers and hot water is filled through flow meters. After the addition, a mixing process is started by recirculation in the vessel thanks to a spray nozzle. The process is controlled by a central controller Unitronics, which controls the mixing of the two fluids according to a preset recipe. Once the fluid is prepared, it is loaded into the trucks using the installed pumps. 2 screw pumps are installed that can be replaced if necessary. The different fluids have their own separate piping and do not mix during transfer.

Dosing is performed using Endress + Hauser flow meters.
